# Grow Now, Pay Later

**Grow Now, Pay Later** (also called the Hardware Plan) lets you get EarthOne plant monitors for a
**$1 deposit** and pay for them monthly instead of up front. It is a device plan, separate from an
EarthOne membership, and it is only available on the EarthOne website.

## How does Grow Now, Pay Later work?

1. Choose how many plant monitors you want on the
   [Grow Now, Pay Later page](https://earthone.io/grow-now-pay-later).
2. Sign in and pay a **$1 deposit** by card. The checkout summary shows your monthly payment and how
   many months the plan runs.
3. Your monthly payments start, and your monitors ship once the first monthly payment has gone
   through.

The total you pay over the plan is never more than the monitors' retail price plus taxes and fees.

## Where do I manage my Grow Now, Pay Later plan?

On the website, in your [device settings](https://earthone.io/settings/devices). The page shows how
many monitors you own, your next payment and your remaining balance. **Manage card** updates your
payment card. A Grow Now, Pay Later plan cannot be managed from the Grow app or from your
membership settings.

## Do I get membership features with Grow Now, Pay Later?

Yes. While your plan is active and paid up, your account gets membership features, including the
higher plant, plant identification and BOTanist limits. The store discount and accident protection
are not part of the plan. If you already have a Pro membership, you keep Pro.

## Can I add more plant monitors to my Grow Now, Pay Later plan?

Yes. Go to your [device settings](https://earthone.io/settings/devices) and choose a new quantity.
You pay a new $1 deposit and your monthly payment increases.

## How do I end my Grow Now, Pay Later plan early?

Open your [device settings](https://earthone.io/settings/devices) and choose **Cancel plan**. You
have two options:

- **Own your monitors:** pay off the rest of the plan. Your monitors keep working and are yours.
- **End the plan:** pay the minimum balance shown in your settings. Your monthly payments stop and
  the monitors on the plan are **deactivated**.

## What happens if a Grow Now, Pay Later payment fails?

Your monitors stop reporting until the payment is fixed, and the Grow app shows that your devices
have been disabled. In your [device settings](https://earthone.io/settings/devices), use
**Fix billing** to update your card. Once the payment goes through, your monitors start reporting
again.

## Can I delete my account while I have a Grow Now, Pay Later plan?

Not from the Grow app. Start a chat with us and our team will help.

## Is Grow Now, Pay Later available in my country?

The checkout tells you if we cannot ship the plan to your address.
